RPF Railway Protection Force (RRB) announced the recruitment of Sub-Inspectors and Constables in the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF) on 02.03.2024. Age Limit:- RPF Constable: Minimum age – 18 years, Maximum age – 28 years
- RPF Sub Inspector: Minimum age – 20 years, Maximum age – 28 years
- Age relaxation is provided for various categories, such as Central Government Employees, Ex-Servicemen, J&K Residents, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), SC/ST, and Widows/Divorced Women
Educational Qualification: - RPF Constable: Class 10 (Matriculation) from a recognized board
- RPF Sub-Inspector: Graduation degree from a recognized university
Nationality: - RPF Constable: Indian Citizenship
Physical Measurement: - Different physical measurement eligibility criteria for various categories, such as Garhwalis, Gorkhas, Marathas, Dogras, Kumaonese, and other categories specified by the Government

RPF Railway Protection Force Vacancy Details- The Railway Protection Force (RPF) has announced a recruitment notification for the positions of Constable and Sub Inspector, with a total of 4660 vacancies.
- The vacancies are divided as follows:
- 4208 vacancies for RPF Constable
- 452 vacancies for RPF Sub Inspector
Physical Eligibility CriteriaMale Candidates: - Height: Minimum of 165 cm.
- Chest Measurements: 80 cm (85 cm with expansion).
- Physical Efficiency Test:
- Run the 1600-meter race in 5 minutes and 45 seconds.
- High jump of 4 feet.
- Long jump of 14 feet.
Female Candidates: - Height: Minimum of 157 cm.
- Chest Measurements: Not applicable.
- Physical Efficiency Test:
- 1600-meter race in 8 minutes and 15 seconds.
- High jump of 3 feet.
- Long jump of 9 feet.

RPF SI & Constable: Selection Process |
- Computer-Based Test (CBT):
- The CBT will be conducted in multiple stages.
- The questions will be objective-type and will be based on the following subjects:
- General Intelligence and Reasoning
- General Awareness
- Arithmetic
- General Science
- The Computer-Based Test (CBT) will last for a duration of 90 minutes.
- The CBT will be conducted in multiple languages, including English, Hindi, and other regional languages.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
- The PET will be conducted for all candidates who qualify in the CBT.
- The PET will consist of various physical tasks such as:
- Running
- Long Jump
- High Jump
- Shot Put
- 1600 meters race
- The minimum qualifying standards for the PET will be different for male and female candidates.
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT):
- The PMT will be conducted for all candidates who qualify in the CBT.
- The PMT will consist of various physical measurements such as:
- Height
- Weight
- Chest (for male candidates)
- Blood Pressure
- Eye Sight
- Document Verification:
- The document verification will be conducted for all candidates who qualify in the CBT, PET, and PMT.
- The candidates will be required to bring original documents and self-attested copies of the following:
- Matriculation/Secondary School Certificate
- Graduation/Post Graduation Certificate
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- Discharge Certificate (for Ex-Servicemen)
- No Objection Certificate (for Government Employees)

- Medical Examination:
- The medical examination will be conducted for all candidates who qualify in the document verification.
- The medical examination will consist of various tests such as:
- Blood Test
- Urine Test
- X-ray
- ECG
- Physical Examination
- Final Selection:
- The final selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in the CBT, PET, PMT, document verification, and medical examination.
- The ultimate ranking will be determined by evaluating candidates’ performance in both the Computer-Based Test (CBT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

- The application fee for RPF Recruitment 2024 is as follows:
- General and OBC candidates: Rs. 500/-
- SC, ST, Female, Ex-Servicemen, Minorities, or Economically Backward Class (EBC) candidates: Rs. 250/-
- The application fee is refundable after the deduction of applicable bank charges upon completion of the CBT.
