• Age Limit:
  • For the position of Assistant Professor, there is no maximum age restriction.
  • For JRF (Junior Research Fellowship): Maximum age is 30 years.
  • Age Relaxation:
    • SC/ST/OBC: 5 years.
    • Female Candidates: 5 years.
• Eligibility Criteria:
  • Educational Qualification:
    • Candidates must be postgraduates with 55% marks in the relevant subject.
    • A Master’s degree in a related subject is mandatory.
    • OBC/SC/ST candidates have a 5% relaxation in marks.

• The UGC NET examination consists of two stages: Paper 1 and Paper 2.
